General Welding Works’ manufacturing facility is located near Greens Bayou, which is part of the Houston Ship Channel Complex. We can produce vessels up to 25’-0” diameter, and/or 300’-0” long. We have shipped vessels in one piece from our facility over 500 tons. We fabricate vessels to ASME Sections VIII, Div 1, Div 2 and Section I. In addition General Welding has a “R” stamp issued by the NBIC

Other materials upon application and review

General Welding has experience with wall thicknesses up to 7” thick. We also have extensive experience with Clad, Weld overlay and have successfully implemented Electro-slag weld overlay for single pass overlay efficiency.

All of the Inspection, non-lab Non-destructive testing, Post Weld Heat Treat, Hydrostatic testing, coatings and Installation of internals are performed on site.
